Who We Are
Bay Country Veterinary Hospital’s mission is to provide the very best in veterinary care to our patients in a compassionate and comfortable environment. One of the ways that we accomplish this is through our accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which we’ve maintained since 1987. This voluntary certification requires that we be evaluated on 900 standards to ensure that we have the facilities, veterinary diagnostic equipment, and medical protocols in place that are essential for the delivery of the highest quality pet health care for our patients.
At Bay Country Veterinary Hospital, we understand that excellent veterinary care extends beyond technical expertise. Our dedicated veterinarians and staff believe in partnering with our valued clients to advance our patients’ welfare together. We achieve this by providing ongoing education, preventive care, and quality communication and support. Nothing is more important to us than taking care of our patients and their families.
What We Do
Our veterinary hospital provides complete veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, such as parakeets, cockatiels, macaws, amazons, snakes, lizards, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, and more.
Our veterinary services range from preventive care, including pet vaccinations, comprehensive physical exams and dental cleanings to veterinary surgery and Treatment, hospitalization and supportive care for sick or injured pets. We also provide basic grooming and kennel services. We are pleased to offer pet boarding to select exotic pets as well.
At Bay Country Veterinary Hospital, we are honored to be able to serve the pets of Annapolis, Maryland and Anne Arundel County. Because we believe in giving back to our community, we have partnered with the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to provide discounted initial exams to pets who have been adopted from that fine facility. In addition, we feature a pet of the month and a pet adoption section on our website to help pets and loving owners find one another.
